ESCTU CHAPTER MISSION To conserve, protect and restore North America's Trout and Salmon Fisheries and their Watersheds. Conservation To improve coldwater resources (i.e. habitat or water flow) by engaging in projects such as stream restoration or advocacy for beneficial regulations. Education To communicate the important issues and information pertinent to our mission to each other and the world outside TU. This includes, but is not limited to, publishing a quarterly or monthly newsletter, giving talks to other groups or teaching angling and conservation principles to youth. To participate in TU efforts at the state level by sending chapter representatives to at least two state council meetings per year. Cooperative Fundraising To work toward shared national and local fund-raising activities that benefit the mission of TU. |
